Dinamika pencapaian grit pada remaja perempuan fatherless

Abstract

This research aims to determine the determine the dynamics of achieving grit in fatherless female adolescents. The research method used is a qualitative approach using the phenomenological method. This research was conducted in Bangkalan Regency, Madura. Participants in this research were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through semi-structured interviews. Data analysis was carried out using the interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) method. The results of this research reveal that (1) fatherless adolescent girls cause impacts such as feelings of loss, doubt and fear, feelings of sadness and disappointment and envy; (2) still have grit which gives rise to two aspects including the consistency of interest aspect which gives rise to clear interests and goals for the future, evidence of achievement and consistency, efforts to be better, subjective self-evaluation, strong determination, constant firm with goals, persistent in trying to realize goals, independent, and there is an effort to achieve dreams. As well as the aspect of perseverance of effort which gives rise to an attitude of never giving up in various situations, determination to maintain goals, high work ethic, always wanting to improve and continuing to try, and always thinking positively.
