Chinese betel is a plant that has potential as a traditional medicine for treating various infectious diseases that occur in humans. Various microbes that cause infections in humans can cause dangerous diseases. In this research, bacteria that cause dysentery and fungi that cause skin infections are used as test microbes. The Chinese betel leaves tested were extracted to extract the active components contained in Chinese betel leaves using the maceration method using ethanol solvent. The bacterial test microbes were Shigella dysentriae ATCC 12037, Shigella flexneri ATCC 12022, and Shigella sonnei ATCC 25931 and the test fungi were Trichopyton menthagrophytes ATTC 52016, Microsporum canis ATCC 32699, and Pityrosporum ovale ATTC 12678. Antimicrobial testing was carried out using the agar diffusion method, using a paper disc as a backup. Chinese betel extract concentrations of 15%, 20%, 25% on Trichopyton menthagrophytes ATTC 52016 mushrooms showed an average inhibitory diameter of 10.80 mm, 12.71 mm, and 14.23 mm. Microsporum canis ATCC 32699 with an average inhibitory diameter of 10.25 mm, 12.29 mm, and 13.18 mm. Pityrosporum ovale ATTC 12678 with an average inhibitory diameter of 9.6 mm, 11.5 mm and 13.23 mm. At test substance concentrations of 10%, 20%, 30% against Shigella dysentriae ATCC 12037 bacteria it was 10.5 mm, 12.4 mm 16.4 mm, Shigella flexneri ATCC 12022 bacteria was 9.06 mm, 10.4 mm and 12 .5 mm, and Shigella sonnei ATCC 25931 bacteria was 10.3 mm, 12.4 mm and 14.5 mm.
Nilda LelyMasayu AzizaLilik PranataErjo ErjoLusi Rahmawati

https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/1499

Tunagrahita is a condition where there is an inability to function intellectually or is below average compared to other children of the same age. Its development depends on the treatment and acceptance of the environment, especially parental acceptance. However, in the process, this self-acceptance is not an easy thing because in reality not all parents can accept the condition of children with intellectual disability. In fact, parents self-acceptance of children with special needs is the main factor that can build self-confidence and provide enthusiasm for children to develop their abilities optimally. This study aims to determine the description of self-acceptance of parents of children with intellectual disabilities in kindergarten and elementary school of SLB Negeri Cileunyi. This study uses descriptive correlation with cross sectional. The sample consisted of 41 parents of children with disabilities with total sampling. The instruments used include the Porter Parental Acceptance Scale (PPAS) with a reliability value of 0.825 and tested valid. The results showed that most parents of children with disabilities in kindergarten and elementary school of SLB Negeri Cileunyi had self-acceptance in the moderate category, as many as 26 respondents (63.4%). In conclusion, the level of self-acceptance of parents in the moderate category requires the role of nurses as educators and counselors in increasing parents' knowledge in caring for children with disabilities because parents who are able to accept their children's condition well, can apply more positive parenting and support the child's growth.
Nauracinta HazelitaNur Oktavia HidayatiSetiawan Setiawan

Achieving academic excellence is the dream of many students, but reaching this goal often involves facing various challenges and demanding expectations. Despite these obstacles, some students manage to perform well academically during their studies. However, behind these achievements, certain students, including members of the OSIS Forum in Bandung, experience impostor syndrome—a feeling of unworthiness for their accomplishments, even when those achievements are real and well-deserved. This condition can affect their mental health and negatively impact their academic performance. The aim of this study is to describe the prevalence of impostor syndrome among students in the OSIS Forum in Bandung. This research adopts a quantitative cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 200 students, with a final sample of 197 students obtained through total sampling techniques. The instrument used was the Clance Impostor Phenomenon Scale (CIPS), with data collected online via Google Forms. The results revealed that most respondents fell into the moderate impostor syndrome category (52.3%), with a higher prevalence among females (70.9%) compared to males (29.1%). Respondents in the middle adolescence stage, aged 16-17 years, dominated all categories. The *fake* dimension had the highest average score (22.22), indicating significant doubt about personal competence. In conclusion, the phenomenon of impostor syndrome is quite prevalent among OSIS students at a moderate level and requires further attention in the form of psychosocial support and interventions.
Hypertension is a condition characterized by an increase in blood pressure that exceeds the normal limit, namely blood pressure exceeding 140/90 mmHg. Classical music that is often used as a reference is Mozart's classical music because almost all of Mozart's works have high-frequency tones that are useful for relaxation, resting the body and mind, increasing intelligence, increasing motivation, mental health, reducing pain, balancing the body, increasing immunity. This music therapy is carried out once a day for 3 days with a duration of 30 minutes using a cellphone with earphones that have been connected to the classical music Canon in D Major instrumental version has three repetitions of rhythms from three violin instruments that are repeated continuously at moderate volume to respondents. This study aims to determine whether there is an Effect of Classical Music Therapy on Reducing Blood Pressure in Elderly Hypertensives in the UPTD Gumawang Health Center Area, East OKU Regency in 2024. The research design used was a quasi-experimental with a research design (two group pretest-posttest design). The research sample was 42 respondents with hypertension at the UPTD Gumawang Health Center. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, the average value of blood pressure reduction before classical music therapy was 3.57, after 2.62 supported by a significance value of p-value of 0.000 <0.05, it can be interpreted that there is an effect of classical music therapy on reducing blood pressure in hypertension patients at the UPTD Gumawang Health Center. The conclusion is that there is a significant effect between classical music therapy and reducing blood pressure. The suggestion of this study can be used as a reference in classical music therapy for reducing blood pressure in hypertension patients, classical music Canon in D, Pachelbel emphasizes the repetition of notes only in three violin instruments. Therefore, it is only necessary to listen to the patient for three repetitions of the rhythm of the three violin instruments that repeat each other continuously. The tone of this music is very soft so that it makes the listener calm and comfortable.
Shindi WulandariSerli Wulan SafitriYazika RimbawatiSelamat Parmin

https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/1480

Non-communicable diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide and knowledge of NCD risk factors is an important element in the prevention and management of NCDs. This study aimed to analyze the level of knowledge about non-communicable disease (NCD) risk factors in various populations globally. This study was a literature review collected from several databases and search engines namely PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar using PRISMA guidelines. The inclusion criteria included quantitative research articles in English or Indonesian, published between 2014-2024, and focusing on NCD risk factors. Of the 261 articles detected, 13 were selected after screening for duplication, screening, and appropriateness to the study objectives. The results showed that the majority of public knowledge regarding NCD risk factors was poor. Of the 13 articles, 9 of them stated the results of poor knowledge levels especially in rural populations, slum areas, and populations with limited access to information. The other four articles showed good knowledge levels in urban populations and populations with better access to knowledge. These results are influenced by several factors: access to health information, education level, social stigma, and cultural perceptions. The conclusion of this study is that community knowledge related to NCD risk factors is still low, so strategic interventions are needed to improve health literacy as an effort to prevent NCDs
Azzahra Naura PashaHasniatisari HarunNursiswati Nursiswati

Cyberbullying is defined as intentional aggressive behavior using electronic contact, repeatedly and within a certain timeframe, towards a victim who cannot easily defend themselves. 1 Student Council Forums (OSIS), as a platform for student development that provides opportunities for collaboration, leadership, and personal growth, are unfortunately not immune to the risk of cyberbullying. This study aims to examine the prevalence and patterns of cyberbullying within a specific adolescent population among members of the Student Council Forum at a school in Bandung, Indonesia. This research employed a cross-sectional design with a descriptive approach, where 197 adolescents were surveyed using the Cyber Aggression Questionnaire for Adolescents (CYBA) as a tool to measure cyberbullying behavior. The collected data was then processed using SPSS software. The results showed that 51.3% of respondents reported low levels of cyberbullying, 33% moderate, and 15.7% high. After tabulating the cyberbullying behavior data with demographic data, it was found that male adolescents and those in higher grades were more likely to be involved in cyberbullying, with verbal cyber aggression and exclusion as the most common forms. These findings highlight the need for targeted prevention and intervention strategies within Student Council Forums in Indonesia
Muchamat Irawan DanisholehudinIyus YosepRiska Nur Assyifa FebriantiErviana Zefanya AgathaThomas FerdinantoRohman Hikmat

Bullying is a global health issue with significant impacts on mental and physical health, particularly among adolescents. In Indonesia, the prevalence of bullying reaches 84%, the highest in Asia, with widespread negative consequences such as depression, anxiety, aggressive behavior, and even suicidal risk. The environment in Juvenile Correctional Institutions (LPKA) exacerbates the risk of bullying behavior due to psychological pressure, power hierarchies, and social dynamics among residents. This study aims to describe the level of bullying behavior among adolescents in LPKA Bandung. A quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design was used, involving 101 adolescents aged 14–19 years as respondents. The instrument employed was The Revised Olweus Bully/Victim Questionnaire, which measures involvement in physical, verbal, and social bullying. The results showed that 45.5% of respondents exhibited moderate levels of bullying behavior, 35.6% had low levels, and 18.8% displayed high levels. Physical and verbal bullying were the most dominant forms, particularly among adolescents aged 18 years, with junior high school education, and parents with married status. These findings highlight the importance of empathy-based interventions, emotional regulation, and social skills enhancement through multidisciplinary collaboration. Such interventions can serve as strategic steps to prevent and manage bullying behavior in LPKA environments while providing a foundation for further research on risk factors and effective prevention programs.
Riska Nur Assyifa FebriantiIyus osep Indra MaulanaMuchamat Irawan DanisholehudinErviana Zefanya AgathaThomas FerdinantoRohman Hikmat
