Tamanan Hamlet is one of the areas in Sleman Regency with a fairly high number of hypertension sufferers. Based on a preliminary study, a total of 4,217 cases of hypertension were recorded at the Kalasan Community Health Center during 2024. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between medication-taking behavior and the level of blood pressure control in hypertension sufferers in Tamanan Hamlet. This study used a descriptive correlational method with a sample of 48 respondents with hypertension selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected using a medication-taking behavior questionnaire and blood pressure measurements and data were taken on July 7-9, 2025. The results showed that the majority of respondents had poor medication-taking behavior as many as 41 people (85.4%) and uncontrolled blood pressure as many as 43 people (89.6%). The results of statistical tests using the Spearman test showed a p value of 0.833 for systolic blood pressure and p = 0.177 for diastolic blood pressure (p > 0.05), so it can be concluded that there is no significant relationship between medication-taking behavior and the level of blood pressure control. Therefore, hypertension control does not only depend on medication-taking behavior, but also needs to be supported by healthy lifestyle changes, ongoing education, and adequate social and family support.
Vincensia Seklin Geovani, Paulus Subiyanto, Tandean Arif Wibowo Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Kesehatan Saelmakers PERDANA (JKSP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2093 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Hubungan Pola Pemberian Makan Terhadap Angka Kejadian Stunting di Sleman Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2095
Stunting is a condition of growth failure that occurs in toddlers due to chronic malnutrition. To date, stunting remains an unresolved nutritional problem. This condition can cause long-term problems, such as affecting the child's physical, mental, cognitive, and intellectual development. The purpose of this study is to identify the relationship between feeding patterns and the incidence of stunting in one village in Yogyakarta. The study used a cross-sectional method with a sample size of 127 toddlers and 127 parents of toddlers as respondents, selected using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, as well as through measuring the height of toddlers. The data was then analyzed using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of <0.05. The research results show that 18 people (52.9%), or more than half of the parents, provided their children with the correct dietary patterns, and their children did not experience stunting. Meanwhile, 71 people (76.3%), the majority of parents who provided incorrect dietary patterns, had children who experienced stunting. Statistical analysis shows a significant relationship between feeding patterns and the incidence of stunting, with a p-value of 0.002. In 2024, the prevalence of stunting in Indonesia reached 19.8%, which has an impact on children’s physical growth and cognitive development. Nutritional intake fulfillment, household food security, and environmental conditions, especially flood-prone areas, are important factors influencing the nutritional status of toddlers. This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design involving 50 respondents who met the criteria of toddlers aged 1–5 years. Data analysis was conducted descriptively and bivariately using the Chi-Square test to determine the relationship between household food security and toddlers’ nutritional status based on the height-for-age index (TB/U). Household food security was measured using a questionnaire. The results showed that male toddlers accounted for 25% and female toddlers also accounted for 25%. Based on the height-for-age index, most toddlers had normal nutritional status or were not stunted, accounting for 50%, while no toddlers were categorized as stunted or severely stunted. Parental characteristics indicated that most mothers were aged 24–36 years (30%), unemployed (35%), and had higher education levels (45%). Meanwhile, almost all fathers were employed (49%) and had higher education levels (45%). The Chi-Square test results showed a p-value of 1.000, indicating no significant relationship between household food security and toddlers’ nutritional status. Nevertheless, cross-tabulation analysis indicated a tendency that lower household food security was associated with a higher proportion of stunted toddlers. However, family economic conditions still play an important role in determining household food security in the flood-prone area of Perumahan Simalingkar, Medan.
Serlina Silalahi, Hetty Gustina Simamora, Barce Inel Crevis Gulo , Deskrisman Stefan Mendrofa, Risda Mariana Manik Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Kesehatan Saelmakers PERDANA (JKSP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2096 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Hubungan Perilaku Sedentary Terhadap Penumpukan Adiposa Pada Remaja di Pondok Pesantren Bogor https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2097 Salma Febriska Marciano, Maria Lousiana Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Kesehatan Saelmakers PERDANA (JKSP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2097 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Kelengkapan Imunisasi Dasar Lengkap pada Bayi di Puskesmas Tanah Abang Kabupaten PALI https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2098
Immunization is one of the most effective public health interventions for preventing infectious diseases by inducing protective immunity through vaccination. Complete basic immunization in infants is essential to protect them from vaccine-preventable diseases that can result in severe morbidity, disability, or death. However, coverage of complete basic immunization remains suboptimal in several settings, including the service area of Tanah Abang Primary Health Care Center, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) Regency. This study aims to analyze the factors associated with the completeness of basic immunization in infants at Tanah Abang Public Health Center in PALI Regency in 2025, particularly in relation to mothers' knowledge, attitudes, and family support. The type of research used was quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The population of the study included all mothers with infants aged 9–18 months and the sample used total sampling technique. Data collection was conducted through a structured questionnaire, then analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Chi-Square test. The univariate analysis results showed a relationship between knowledge, attitude, and family support simultaneously with the completeness of basic immunization. Meanwhile, the bivariate results showed a partial relationship between each variable. The factor of maternal knowledge was significantly related to immunization completeness with a p-value of 0.000. The factor of maternal attitude was also proven to be related with a p-value of 0.013. In addition, family support had a significant effect with a p-value of 0.000. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that knowledge, attitude, and family support play an important role in determining the completeness of basic immunization for infants. Therefore, health workers are expected to increase educational activities, provide counseling, and actively involve families to encourage the achievement of optimal basic immunization coverage.
Dita Dita, Intan Sari, Eka Rahmawati, Rini Gustina Sari Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Kesehatan Saelmakers PERDANA (JKSP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2098 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Hubungan Mutu Pelayanan Kesehatan Terhadap Kepuasan Pasien BPJS Rawat Inap Kelas III di RSUD OKU Timur https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2101
"Quality healthcare services are key to achieving patient satisfaction. This study used a descriptive qualitative design involving 24 informants consisting of hospital pastoral care officers, interfaith religious leaders, health workers (doctors and nurses), hospital directors, and inpatients. Data collection techniques included semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation, which were then analysed thematically. The results showed that bioethical aspects such as respect for autonomy, non-maleficence, beneficence, and justice have been applied in pastoral care services, despite challenges related to religious diversity, limited training, and public perception. The combination of Beauchamp and Childress' bioethical principles with Sulmasy's spiritual care ethics proved to be highly relevant, as it prioritises a holistic and patient-centred approach. However, the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia remains low, at 36,9%. Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy (BSE), or a mother’s confidence in her ability to breastfeed, is a factor that may be associated with the breastfeeding experience, including maternal satisfaction. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between BSE and breastfeeding satisfaction among breastfeeding mothers in the catchment area of Primary Health Center Buleleng II. A correlational study with a cross-sectional approach was conducted. A total of 40 breastfeeding mothers were selected through purposive sampling based on inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were collected using the Breastfeeding Self-Efficacy Scale–Short Form (BSES-SF) and the Maternal Breastfeeding Evaluation Scale (MBES) questionnaires. Bivariate analysis to assess the relationship between total BSE scores and total breastfeeding satisfaction scores was performed using the pearson correlation test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that 72,5% of respondents had low BSE and 62,5% had low breastfeeding satisfaction. Descriptively, 65,5% of mothers with low BSE also reported low breastfeeding satisfaction. However, correlation analysis indicated no significant relationship between BSE and breastfeeding satisfaction (r=0,151; p=0,354). These findings suggest that breastfeeding satisfaction is not determined solely by BSE but may also be influenced by other factors such as social support and environmental conditions. Therefore, a more comprehensive approach, including strengthening social support and implementing breastfeeding-friendly policies, is needed to improve mothers breastfeeding experiences and success.
Made Ririn Sri Wulandari, Ketut Espana Giri, Ketut Suardana, Putu Windy Astuti, Komang Alit Suriyasmini, Novia Ayu Lestari Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Kesehatan Saelmakers PERDANA (JKSP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2104 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Fenomenologi: Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat (PHBS) pada Remaja di Lingkungan Padat Penduduk https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2105
Clean and Healthy Living Behavior is essential for disease prevention and improving adolescents’ quality of life. Nursing students are a group vulnerable to high stress due to the need to balance heavy academic demands and professional preparation in the health field. This study aims to describe self-harm behavior among students in the Bachelor of Nursing Program. The method used is quantitative descriptive with a population of 743 students and a sample of 260 respondents selected through Stratified Random Sampling. The instrument in this study is the Indonesian version of the Deliberate Self-Harm Inventory (DSHI), which has undergone validity and reliability testing. The study was conducted in January 2026 at one of the universities located in the Jatinangor area, Sumedang Regency, Indonesia. The results showed that 54.2% of respondents reported having engaged in self-harm, with the most common behaviors including intentionally interfering with wound healing, scratching the skin until bleeding, and biting the skin. These behaviors were more frequently reported among female students, senior students, and those living away from their families. This study found that more than half of undergraduate nursing students had engaged in self-harm, with behaviors that tended to be subtle and hidden, functioning as maladaptive coping mechanisms in response to academic and emotional stress. These behaviors were more commonly observed among female students, early-year students, and those living away from their families, highlighting the need to strengthen mental health promotion programs, early detection efforts, and accessible counseling services within the campus environment.
Fatima Muthia Adyanie, Imas Rafiyah, Sukma Senjaya Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Kesehatan Saelmakers PERDANA (JKSP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2106 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Analisis Framing Kesehatan Mental Di Kota Bahagia https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2110
This study analyzes the framing of mass media regarding the mental health paradox in Jakarta, which has been designated a "Happy City." Prevalence data reveals a striking contradiction: the prevalence of depression in Jakarta reaches 1.5% (higher than the national average of 1.4%), with general mental health disorders at 2.2%. The Free Health Check (Cek Kesehatan Gratis/CKG) screening survey even found that 2.99% of residents potentially experience depressive symptoms. However, only 12.7% of those with depression seek treatment, with social stigma being the main barrier. This paradox reflects a misalignment between the positive image and the grim reality, exacerbated by social stigma, urban life pressures, and limited access to services. The research type used is qualitative, employing the research method of framing analysis based on Robert M. Entman's model. This method was applied to analyze online news articles from November-December 2025 to reveal how the media defines the problem, diagnoses causes, makes moral judgments, and suggests solutions. Using Robert Entman's framing model, this study explores how these media articles construct narratives through framing elements. The findings reveal two dominant frames: 1) The "Crisis and Irony" frame, which constructs the paradox as a failure of the 'happy city' title's legitimacy and emphasizes systemic causes such as stigma and urban pressure; and 2) The "Defense and Impression Management" frame, normalized by official narratives, which shifts the issue to a public misunderstanding and offers reactive solutions based on existing services like JakCare. This study reveals the implications of this framing for public perception, health policies, and anti-stigma advocacy, with recommendations for educational campaigns and preventive policy interventions. The novelty of the research lies in the application of Entman's model within the Indonesian urban context, providing insights for more effective health communication.
Prasetyo Adinugroho Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Kesehatan Saelmakers PERDANA (JKSP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2110 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Simulasi Proteus Rangkaian Kendali Vibrator Terapi Otot Leher Berbasis Arduino https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2111
Terdiri dalam bahasa inggris serta satu alinea, mencakup masalah, tujuan, metode, hasil dan kesimpulan, pada point ini tanpa di bolt atau italic. [Font Times New Roman 10 bold] Neck muscle tension and pain are common health problems caused by non-ergonomic work postures, prolonged static activity, and excessive use of electronic devices. One common non-pharmacological method used to reduce these complaints is vibration therapy using a vibrator. However, a stable, safe, and programmable control system is required for the therapy to work optimally. This study aims to design and simulate an Arduino-based neck muscle therapy vibrator control circuit using Proteus software. The research methods include literature review, system block diagram design, electronic circuit design, Arduino microcontroller programming, and circuit simulation using Proteus to test system performance. The control system was designed using Arduino as the main controller, a motor driver module as the vibrator power regulator, and the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) method to regulate the vibration intensity. The simulation results show that the control circuit is able to regulate the speed and vibration pattern of the vibrator according to the specified program, and works stably without excessive voltage disturbances on the components. In addition, the simulation proves that the use of Proteus is effective in visualizing and analyzing system performance before being realized in hardware form. The conclusion of this study is that the Proteus simulation of the Arduino-based neck muscle therapy vibrator control circuit can be used as an efficient and economical initial stage in the development of a controlled and safe vibration therapy device.
Pebri Prihatmoko, Victor Novianto, Kunnu Purwanto, Amirul Fickri Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Kesehatan Saelmakers PERDANA (JKSP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2111 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Hubungan Antara Indeks Massa Tubuh Pra-Maternal Dengan Menyusui Eksklusif Di Puskesmas Ritaebang Kab. Self-efficacy plays a role as an internal factor that can influence students' ability to cope with these pressures. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and academic burnout in accounting students. This study used a quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach, the sampling technique using total sampling with a sample of 91 accounting students in Yogyakarta. The instruments used were the General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES-10) and the School Burnout Inventory (SBI-9). Data analysis used the Spearman Rank correlation test. The results of the data analysis showed that the majority of respondents had a high level of self-efficacy, but most also experienced academic burnout in the high category. The Spearman Rank correlation test produced p <0.001 with a correlation coefficient of 0.425, which indicates a significant positive relationship with a moderate strength of the relationship between self-efficacy and academic burnout. The higher the self-efficacy of accounting students, the greater the risk of experiencing burnout. This happens because strong self-confidence often encourages students to force themselves to achieve academic targets without paying attention to the limits of emotional exhaustion, so that coping resources that should protect them actually turn into triggers for vulnerability to burnout. These findings indicate that the relationship between self-efficacy and burnout is contextual and not always linear-negative as widely reported in previous literature, thus providing theoretical contributions by expanding the understanding of the dynamics of personal resources in students with high academic demands, where self-efficacy can play an adaptive or maladaptive role depending on the individual's self-regulation abilities.
Diah Amelya Sio, Sutejo Sutejo, Prastiwi Puji Rahayu Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Kesehatan Saelmakers PERDANA (JKSP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2113 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Peranan Sense of Humor dan Dukungan Atasan terhadap Stres Kerja Perawat https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2114
Nurses are at high risk of experiencing work-related stress due to heavy workloads, complex clinical demands, and responsibilities for patient safety. Prolonged stress without proper management may negatively affect nurses’ mental health and the quality of healthcare services, highlighting the importance of examining effective stress management mechanisms. This study aimed to analyze and compare the roles of sense of humor as an internal coping mechanism and supervisor support as an external factor in relation to nurses’ work stress. This study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. The population consisted of nurses working in Palembang. The study was conducted from April to June 2024, with a sample of 114 respondents selected based on participant criteria using accidental sampling. Data were collected using a Likert scale and analyzed through multiple linear regression. The results showed that sense of humor and supervisor support simultaneously had a significant effect on work stress (p < 0.05). Partially, sense of humor did not have a significant effect on work stress (p = 0.864; p > 0.05), whereas supervisor support had a significant effect on work stress (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that external factors, particularly supervisor support, play a more dominant role than internal factors in managing nurses’ work stress. The practical implication highlights the need for a shift from reactive to preventive managerial approaches through strengthening systematic and sustainable supportive leadership
Ongko Handoko, Theresia Widyastuti, Stepanus Sigit Pranoto, Kevin Alexander Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Kesehatan Saelmakers PERDANA (JKSP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2114 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Pengaruh Slow Stroke Back Massage Terhadap Tekanan Darah pada Pasien Stroke https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2115
Stroke currently ranks third among the ten leading causes of death worldwide. Stroke occurs due to brain damage caused by reduced cerebral perfusion. The body increases blood pressure as a compensatory mechanism, triggering uncontrolled hypertension. Uncontrolled hypertension increases the risk of hemorrhagic transformation, cerebral edema, and worsens the prognosis. High blood pressure also triggers further bleeding or hemorrhagic transformation, which increases the likelihood of long-term disability and death. One non-pharmacological management method for controlling blood pressure is slow-stroke back massage in stroke patients. This technique is a gentle massage technique performed slowly and rhythmically on the back area, starting from the base of the neck to the waist, using both palms. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of slow-stroke back massage on blood pressure in stroke patients. This study used a pre-experimental research design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The sampling technique was accidental sampling, with a total of 18 respondents. Data were taken from measurements and observations of research subjects using observation sheets and SSBM SOP sheets. The analysis technique used the Wilcoxon test. The results showed a Z value of -2.508 with an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.012 (p < 0.05). This finding indicates a significant difference in diastolic blood pressure between before and after treatment. There is an effect of slow-stroke back massage on blood pressure in stroke patients. Based on these results, it is hoped that education on the correct slow-stroke back massage technique can be provided so that it can be performed independently at home as a supportive therapy for blood pressure control, of course after receiving guidance from a health professional
Miftah Apriani, , Dewi Ciselia, Ria Wulandari Copyright (c) 2026 Jurnal Kesehatan Saelmakers PERDANA (JKSP) https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0 https://journal.ukmc.ac.id/index.php/joh/article/view/2115 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000
