The program is designed to stimulate creativity, develop sensory and motor skills, and provide early education on simple gardening practices that can be applied in the home environment.</p> <p data-start="793" data-end="1294"><strong data-start="793" data-end="825">Design Methodology Approach: </strong>The program was implemented at the official residence of KRPH Panceng, Gresik, and involved 12 early grade students from UPT SDN 322. Activities were conducted through thematic education using visual brochures, hands on chili planting practice, and interactive educational games such as Guess the Picture and Guess Who I Am. Evaluation was carried out through direct observation and simple question and answer sessions to assess student understanding and engagement.</p> <p data-start="1296" data-end="1595"><strong data-start="1296" data-end="1309">Findings: </strong>The results indicate that 66 percent of participants were able to restate the learning materials, follow instructions appropriately, and recognize new vocabulary related to gardening activities. High levels of enthusiasm and active participation were observed throughout the program.</p> <p data-start="1597" data-end="1881"><strong data-start="1597" data-end="1624">Practical Implications: </strong>This program effectively builds basic environmental awareness and gardening knowledge from an early age. The approach can be replicated in schools and community settings as part of thematic learning to strengthen environmental care character development.</p> <p data-start="1883" data-end="2184"><strong data-start="1883" data-end="1905">Originality Value: </strong>This program integrates environmental education and practical gardening activities within an enjoyable thematic learning framework. The activity involved fifth- and sixth-grade students of YBPK Christian Elementary School, Surabaya.</em></p> <p><strong><em>Findings: </em></strong><em>The results indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding of the types and benefits of herbal plants, as well as the basic stages of herbal candy production. The activity focuses on enhancing critical thinking, information verification skills, and awareness of misinformation risks when accessing digital health related content.</p> <p data-start="707" data-end="1076"><strong data-start="707" data-end="739">Design Methodology Approach: </strong>A community based outreach intervention was conducted using the CRAP framework, which emphasizes Currency, Relevance, Authority, and Purpose in evaluating digital information. The program employed a pre test and post test design to assess changes in participants’ digital health literacy before and after the educational intervention.</p> <p data-start="1078" data-end="1448"><strong data-start="1078" data-end="1091">Findings: </strong>The findings reveal a measurable improvement in participants’ digital health literacy following the activity. Mothers demonstrated a stronger ability to critically evaluate online health information, identify unreliable sources, and recognize potential misinformation, particularly content circulated through social media and instant messaging platforms.</p> <p data-start="1450" data-end="1867"><strong data-start="1450" data-end="1477">Practical Implications: </strong>The results indicate that a simple, communicative, and context driven educational approach is effective in improving public awareness and critical evaluation skills in the digital environment. Accessible digital literacy programs are therefore essential for community empowerment, especially for vulnerable groups such as mothers who play a central role in family health decision making.</p> <p data-start="1869" data-end="2283"><strong data-start="1869" data-end="1891">Originality Value: </strong>This study highlights mothers as strategic actors in digital health information management and demonstrates that a practical CRAP based intervention can significantly enhance digital health literacy. Unequal power relations between men and women often place women in subordinate positions and increase the risk of gender based violence. This community service activity aims to strengthen understanding of gender equality as a foundation for building healthy, respectful, and harmonious relationships within families and communities.</p> <p data-start="941" data-end="1341"><strong data-start="941" data-end="973">Design/Methodology/Approach: </strong>This activity was implemented using a Participatory Action Research approach, consisting of four stages: exploration, planning, implementation, and reflection and evaluation. The program involved participatory discussions, group guidance sessions, and reflective learning activities designed to encourage active engagement and critical awareness among participants.</p> <p data-start="1343" data-end="1721"><strong data-start="1343" data-end="1356">Findings: </strong>A total of 28 participants, consisting of mothers and adolescents, took part in the program and were divided into three groups receiving different forms of intervention. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ understanding of gender equality concepts and awareness of balanced roles and responsibilities in relationships following the intervention.</p> <p data-start="1723" data-end="2047"><strong data-start="1723" data-end="1750">Practical Implications: </strong>The group guidance model, which emphasizes group dynamics and shared reflection, proved effective in fostering awareness and positive attitude change toward gender equality. This approach can be applied in community settings as a preventive strategy to reduce the risk of gender based violence.</p> <p data-start="2049" data-end="2386" data-is-last-node="" data-is-only-node=""><strong data-start="2049" data-end="2071">Originality/Value: </strong>This program contributes to community empowerment by promoting gender just attitudes and relationships. The program addresses the low utilization of health services and the high prevalence of hypertension in Moleono Village, West Petasia District, North Morowali Regency, Central Sulawesi Province.</p> <p data-start="772" data-end="1211"><strong data-start="772" data-end="804">Design/Methodology/Approach: </strong>The activity was conducted through community based health education and direct blood pressure examinations. Educational sessions focused on the definition, risk factors, dangers, prevention, and management of hypertension, while blood pressure measurements were carried out to identify individuals at risk. The approach emphasized participatory interaction between health educators and community members.</p> <p data-start="1213" data-end="1634"><strong data-start="1213" data-end="1226">Findings: </strong>The results showed that 44.28 percent of participants were identified as having hypertension. Community members actively participated in the educational sessions by asking questions related to hypertension management and expressed interest in obtaining antihypertensive treatment. These findings indicate a substantial burden of hypertension and a high need for accessible health information and services.</p> <p data-start="1636" data-end="1957"><strong data-start="1636" data-end="1663">Practical Implications: </strong>Regular blood pressure screening combined with health education can improve early detection, support blood pressure control, and reduce the risk of hypertension related complications. The activity focuses on increasing public awareness and knowledge regarding formalin hazards, strengthening community capacity to identify and reduce formalin contamination, and promoting preventive actions through practical training. Ultimately, the program contributes to improving public health and supports the shared vision toward Golden Indonesia 2045.</p> <p data-start="1048" data-end="1584"><strong data-start="1048" data-end="1080">Design Methodology Approach: </strong>The program was implemented using a participatory empowerment approach involving members of the Family Welfare Empowerment organization as educators and community counselors. Activities included structured training on formalin hazards, practical demonstrations on removing formalin from salted fish, and the use of a web based formalin detection application. Program effectiveness was evaluated through pre test and post test assessments, interviews, and direct observations involving 17 participants.</p> <p data-start="1586" data-end="1934"><strong data-start="1586" data-end="1599">Findings: </strong>The evaluation results show a significant improvement in participant knowledge and understanding. The average pre test score of 78 increased to an average post test score of 85 following the training. Participants demonstrated improved competence in identifying formalin contamination and applying appropriate mitigation techniques.</p> <p data-start="1936" data-end="2277"><strong data-start="1936" data-end="1963">Practical Implications: </strong>The program provides practical guidance for reducing formalin content in salted fish through soaking in warm water at approximately forty degrees Celsius for fifteen minutes and utilizing a digital application for formalin detection. This condition necessitates the adoption of technologies that support efficiency and automation in water management. This community service program aims to improve water use efficiency through the development and training of smart irrigation technology based on soil moisture and weather sensors.</p> <p data-start="786" data-end="1135"><strong data-start="786" data-end="802">Methodology: </strong>The program was implemented at the D'rangrang Farmers Group through a Community Partnership Empowerment scheme funded by the Directorate of Research Technology and Community Service. The methodology included technology socialization, installation training, system utilization monitoring, and evaluation of implementation outcomes.</p> <p data-start="1137" data-end="1452"><strong data-start="1137" data-end="1150">Findings: </strong>The results indicate that the application of smart irrigation technology reduced water consumption by up to 30 percent compared to conventional irrigation methods. In addition, farmers demonstrated increased awareness of the importance of precise and efficient water management in urban agriculture.</p> <p data-start="1454" data-end="1733"><strong data-start="1454" data-end="1481">Practical Implications: </strong>The implementation of smart irrigation supports improved productivity and sustainability of urban farming practices. The program addresses key challenges faced by producers, including inefficient processing methods and the absence of effective waste management practices that contribute to environmental pollution.</p> <p data-start="766" data-end="1247"><strong data-start="766" data-end="798">Design Methodology Approach: </strong>The program was implemented through a participatory approach consisting of field observation, group discussions, technology socialization, and hands on training. Appropriate production equipment, including a cassava grating machine and a hydraulic press, was introduced. In addition, technical training was provided on liquid waste processing through a fermentation method using Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast to produce nata de cassava.</p> <p data-start="1249" data-end="1618"><strong data-start="1249" data-end="1262">Findings: </strong>The results indicate an improvement in partners’ knowledge and technical skills related to waste utilization and production efficiency. The introduction of new equipment enhanced the effectiveness of cassava processing, while nata de cassava production training enabled the transformation of liquid waste into an alternative product with economic value.</p> <p data-start="1620" data-end="1953"><strong data-start="1620" data-end="1647">Practical Implications: </strong>The implementation of simple and appropriate technology supports cleaner production processes, reduces environmental impact, and creates new income opportunities for small scale cassava based industries. Although the business has adopted a website as part of its digital presence, the utilization of social media for marketing purposes has not been optimized. This community service activity aims to strengthen employees’ digital marketing capabilities through social media utilization in order to enhance business visibility and market penetration.</p> <p data-start="764" data-end="1141"><strong data-start="764" data-end="780">Methodology: </strong>The activity was conducted through a training program combining theoretical explanation and hands on practice for Qalby Laundry employees. The training focused on introducing digital marketing concepts, selecting appropriate social media platforms based on target markets, and applying practical strategies for content creation and information dissemination.</p> <p data-start="1143" data-end="1530"><strong data-start="1143" data-end="1156">Findings: </strong>The training results indicate that participants gained new knowledge related to digital technology and online information dissemination through social media. Employees demonstrated an improved understanding of how social media platforms can be utilized for promotion, business expansion, and customer engagement in alignment with the characteristics of the target market.</p> <p data-start="1532" data-end="1864"><strong data-start="1532" data-end="1559">Practical Implications: </strong>The implementation of social media marketing enables Qalby Laundry to strengthen its promotional strategies, expand market reach, and enhance competitiveness in the digital era. The program is designed to encourage a transition toward organic fertilizer utilization by strengthening community knowledge, skills, and awareness of environmentally friendly agricultural practices while optimizing local resources to support productivity and economic improvement.</p> <p data-start="832" data-end="1350"><strong data-start="832" data-end="864">Design Methodology Approach: </strong>The program was implemented through a community empowerment approach involving structured training and continuous mentoring. Activities included education on the negative impacts of chemical fertilizer overuse, hands on training in organic fertilizer production using locally available livestock manure, and technical assistance during the application process. The approach emphasized participatory engagement to ensure knowledge transfer and practical adoption by community members.</p> <p data-start="1352" data-end="1782"><strong data-start="1352" data-end="1365">Findings: </strong>The results indicate increased community understanding of sustainable fertilization practices and improved technical skills in producing and applying organic fertilizer. Participants demonstrated reduced reliance on chemical fertilizers and greater confidence in utilizing organic alternatives derived from local resources. The program also fostered stronger collaboration between the university and the community.</p> <p data-start="1784" data-end="2120"><strong data-start="1784" data-end="1811">Practical Implications: </strong>The adoption of organic fertilizer practices contributes to improved soil quality, enhanced agricultural productivity, and reduced production costs.
