Abstract
Digital learning is rapidly evolving through the use of information technology to create active, adaptive, and student-centered learning interactions. One widely used game-based learning platform innovation is Kahoot!. This study aims to describe and analyze the role of the Kahoot! application in increasing student learning motivation in elementary schools. The method used was a qualitative descriptive approach with a literature review approach, using data from scientific journals published between 2021 and 2026. The results indicate that the use of Kahoot! has a significant positive impact on student motivation, engagement, and focus. Its interactive quiz elements, live scoring system, engaging visuals, and rankings contribute to creating a fun, competitive atmosphere while reducing student boredom. However, the use of Kahoot! faces real challenges such as dependence on a stable internet connection and students' tendency to focus too much on speed of response rather than accuracy of understanding. In conclusion, Kahoot! is an effective 21st-century digital learning medium for increasing student enthusiasm, with its success largely dependent on teachers' ability to integrate it with.
