The Jigsaw type cooperative learning model is a student-centered pedagogical strategy designed to foster active participation, positive interaction, and collaboration among learners through a structured task-sharing mechanism. This study aims to comprehensively analyze the impact of implementing the Jigsaw model on three major dimensions of student development: active engagement, teamwork skills, and academic learning outcomes. A qualitative systematic literature review (SLR) methodology was adopted to critically synthesize reputable peer-reviewed journal articles published between 2018 and 2025. Data were gathered through documentation and rigorously processed using content analysis and thematic synthesis. The findings reveal that the Jigsaw framework significantly transforms classroom dynamics from passive reception to active collaborative engagement. The structured interplay between expert groups and home groups successfully establishes individual accountability and positive interdependence among group members. This mechanism leads to marked improvements in academic mastery (up to 90% mastery rate), complete student active participation (100%), and the acquisition of critical 21st-century social skills. Consequently, the Jigsaw cooperative learning approach is strongly recommended as a primary strategy for competency-based curriculum delivery.
