Physical activity or exercise refers to body movements performed by muscles in a planned and repetitive manner that result in increased energy expenditure, aimed at improving physical fitness. One type of physical activity is aerobic exercise. Aerobic physical activity has been shown to reduce blood pressure and random blood glucose levels (GDS). Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of aerobic physical activity on blood pressure and random blood glucose levels (GDS). Methods: This research used a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design, employing a one-group pre-test and post-test without a control group. The aerobic physical activity intervention was conducted at Prawiro Husada Clinic, Palembang. The sample consisted of 20 respondents. Measurements of blood pressure and random blood glucose levels (GDS) were conducted before and after the intervention. Results: There was a significant difference in blood pressure before and after aerobic physical activity (p < 0.05). There was also a significant difference in random blood glucose levels (RBG) before and after the activity (p < 0.05). Conclusion: Aerobic physical activity has an effect on blood pressure and random blood glucose levels (GDS).
