Pengaruh Autentic Leadership Perawat Manajer Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Perawat Di Rumah Sakit Swasta Kota Medan

Nurses are health workers who interact directly with patients for 24 hours. The quality of service will be realized well if nurses have satisfaction in their work. Job satisfaction is closely related to leadership style, authentic leadership can encourage work satisfaction of coworkers. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of authentic leadership of nurse managers on nurse job satisfaction at Private Hospitals in Medan City. This type of research is a quasi-experiment one group pretest - posttest. The sampling technique used cluster random sampling of 55 people. Data were collected through observation sheets and questionnaires. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon Signed test. The results showed that there was an effect of authentic leadership of nurse managers on job satisfaction at private hospitals in Medan City (p value 0.000). It is recommended that nurse managers in hospitals implement authentic leadership so that nurses have satisfaction in carrying out their roles which have outcomes in health services in the form of improving the quality of health services.
