Hubungan Penggunaan Gadget dengan Perkembangan Pada Anak Usia Dini

Abstract

Gadgets are proof of progress in the world of technology. With the existence of gadgets, it cannot be denied that the existence of gadgets is a form of technological progress. The big impact of gadgets is influencing social development along with the times. So it is often seen that children playing with gadgets tend to be more engrossed in their gadgets so that social relations between each other decrease. The influence of gadgets in human life depends on how people use these gadgets. If humans can utilize gadgets, then gadgets will have a positive impact on human life. However, on the contrary, if humans cannot use gadgets wisely and there are no restrictions on their use, then gadgets will have a bad impact on human life itself. This type of research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The population of this research is all students aged 3-5 years in Ulil Albab Kindergarten Palembang, while the samples for this research were those that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The analysis processing technique uses chi square. The research results showed that the p value obtained from the analysis results = 0.000 (<0.05) indicating that there is a significant relationship between gadget use and early childhood development
