Hubungan Peran Perawat Terhadap Proses Penyembuhan Luka Ibu Post Partum Dengan Sectio Caesaria (SC) di Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Permata Vunda Kota Solok Tahun 2025

Abstract

The phenomenon that often occurs in postpartum mothers with cesarean section (SC) is a slow wound healing process and the risk of complications if not handled optimally, therefore the role of nurses is key in accelerating the wound healing process through appropriate nursing care. This study aims to determine the relationship between the role of nurses and the wound healing process in postpartum mothers with CS at Permata Bunda Mother and Child Hospital, Solok City in 2025 using a research design that is a quantitative approach chi square method and sampling technique that is random sampling, with a population of 450 respondents and a sample of 82 people. The instrument in this study used a questionnaire and observation sheet and obtained results that most respondents gave a good assessment of the role of nurses (75.6%), and most respondents also had a good wound healing process (89%), while the bivariate analysis in the study used the Chi-Square statistical test with a p-value = 0.001 (p <0.05) it can be concluded that there is a significant relationship between the role of nurses and the wound healing process in postpartum mothers with CS. For this reason, it is hoped that the hospital will maintain nursing services, especially in terms of wound care, through ongoing training and a holistic approach so that the post-operative wound healing process can run optimally.
