Faktor – Faktor Yang Berhubungan Dengan Perilaku Pemeriksaan Payudara Sendiri Pada Siswi

Abstract

Insufficient breast milk will affect the level of confidence of a mother in her ability to breastfeed, thus causing the emergence of concerns in the mother about insufficient breast milk production which can be a factor influencing the mother's psychological condition so that it has an impact on oxytocin release. This study aims to determine the description of breast milk production in postpartum mothers at BPM Listikaria, Lempuing District, OKI Regency in 2025 before being given oxytocin massage. This type of research is pre-experimental with a one group pretest-posttest design. The study population is all postpartum mothers. The population in this study is all postpartum mothers at BPM Listikaria. The observation sheet is a measuring tool by observing and recording based on certain objects and phenomena. The data is analyzed by a questionnaire to ensure that the answers listed in the checklist have been filled in completely, clearly, relevantly, and consistently. The results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test show a significant difference between breast milk production before and after the intervention with a Z value = -4.787 and a p-value = 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows that oxytocin massage is effective in increasing breast milk production in postpartum mothers.
