Adolescence is a developmental period characterized by physical and psychosocial changes that can influence body image and eating behavior. Body dissatisfaction can increase the risk of unhealthy eating behaviors. This study aims to examine the relationship between body image and eating behavior among adolescents at SMPN 19 in Bandung. This study employed a quantitative correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of 921 students, with a sample of 258 respondents selected using proportionate stratified systematic sampling. Data collection took place from February to March 2026, with the survey conducted from March 2 to 12, 2026 (approximately 2 weeks), using the Body Esteem Scale for Adolescents and Adults (BESAA) and the Eating Attitudes Test-13. Data analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that the majority of respondents had a high body image (52.7%) and showed no indication of eating disorders (74.4%). There was a significant association between body image and eating behavior (p-value = 0.001), with adolescents having a positive body image tending to exhibit healthier eating behaviors. Implications for nursing include using these findings as a basis for developing promotive and preventive interventions through education to enhance positive body image and prevent unhealthy eating behaviors among adolescents
