The low interest of mothers in using Intra Uterine Device (IUD) contraception remains a significant issue in the Family Planning program. This study aims to determine the relationship between husband's support, knowledge, and side effects with mothers' interest in using IUD contraception in the Sukarami Community Health Center working area, Sungai Rotan District, Muara Enim Regency in 2025. The research design used was quantitative with an analytical survey method through a cross-sectional approach. The study population included all active family planning acceptor mothers, totaling 5,828 people. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula with a 10% error rate, resulting in 98 respondents. The sampling technique was accidental sampling. Primary data were collected through questionnaires, while secondary data were obtained from Community Health Center records. Data analysis used univariate and bivariate analysis. The results of the univariate analysis showed that most respondents had low knowledge (62.2%), did not receive husband's support (80.6%), and were afraid of side effects after using contraception (90.8%). Bivariate analysis showed a significant relationship between husband's support (p=0.000; OR=26.361), knowledge (p=0.003; OR=4.968), and side effects (p=0.000; OR=22.458) with mothers' interest in using IUDs. The conclusion of this study is that husband's support, knowledge, and side effects are associated with low maternal interest in using IUD contraception. The recommendation from this study is the need to increase reproductive health education, counseling, and education by involving husbands to increase maternal participation in IUD use.
