Purpose: This community service activity aims to strengthen the managerial capacity of SMEs in Cikarang Pusat by integrating digital payment systems (QRIS) and business budgeting. The project seeks to address problems such as low digital literacy, reliance on inefficient cash transactions, and the lack of structured financial planning or separation between personal and business finances.
Design/Methodology/Approach: The project was implemented using a participatory and practical approach across five stages: socialisation to build commitment, intensive training on QRIS and budgeting, hands-on mentoring through field visits, evaluation via pre-tests and post-tests, and ensuring program sustainability through coordination groups. Tools involved include the official QRIS registration platform (aspi-qris.id) and simple bookkeeping templates.
Findings: The outcomes can be applied by SMEs to improve operational efficiency and provide real-time financial data for better decision-making. For the community, it fosters a local digital ecosystem, while for policy, it supports the national agenda of promoting SME digitalisation and financial inclusion.
