An emergency is a clinical situation that requires immediate medical attention to save lives and prevent disability. Emergency care is the immediate medical treatment required by emergency patients to save lives and prevent disability. This quantitative research employed an analytical survey design with a cross-sectional approach. The study was conducted in the Emergency Department (ER) of Efarina Etaham General Hospital, Berastagi, from March to May 2025. The sample consisted of nurses in the ER. A saturated sampling technique was used, with 30 nurses. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire containing information on nurse behavior and the accuracy of triage labeling. The collected data were analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The Chi-Square test yielded a p-value of 0.031, indicating a relationship between nurse behavior regarding triage and the accuracy of triage labeling for emergency patients in the Emergency Department (ER) of Efarina Etaham General Hospital, Berastagi. Management is advised to conduct outreach regarding triage labeling in the ER to improve service quality.
