Gambaran Sikap Perawat terhadap Digitalisasi dalam Pencegahan TB Anak di Puskesmas Wilayah Kerja Kabupaten Sumedang

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a global health issue, including in Indonesia. Children are a vulnerable group for TB infection because their immune systems are not yet fully developed, thus requiring effective prevention efforts. The use of digitalization has the potential to improve the effectiveness of prevention programs. The implementation of digitalization is heavily influenced by the attitudes of nurses as the primary implementers; however, the nature of nurses’ attitudes toward digitalization in childhood TB prevention at community health centers in Sumedang Regency remains unclear. This study aims to describe nurses’ attitudes toward digitalization in childhood TB prevention at community health centers within Sumedang Regency. The study employed a quantitative descriptive design using total sampling of secondary data involving 30 TB responsible nurses at community health centers in the Sumedang Regency service area. Data were collected using the Nurses’ Knowledge, Attitudes, and Behaviors on Digital Health questionnaire, which had been translated, with a focus on the attitude domain. The results showed that 60% (18 nurses) had a supportive attitude toward the use of digitalization in the prevention of childhood TB, while 40% (12 nurses) were not supportive, indicating that acceptance is not yet uniform. It was concluded that the majority of nurses have a supportive attitude toward the use of digitalization, but there is still a significant proportion who do not support it. Therefore, efforts are needed to prepare nurses for digitalization through training in order to support the optimization of childhood TB prevention.
