Abstrak

The Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR) in Indonesia remains relatively high, and one contributing factor is the limited knowledge among pregnant women about danger signs during pregnancy. Educational efforts are essential to enhance awareness and understanding among pregnant women, including the use of Healt Promotion media. This study aims to determine the effect of Health Promotion on improving pregnant women’s knowledge of pregnancy danger signs at Midwife Elna’s Practice in 2025. This research employed a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest approach. A total of 30 pregnant women were selected as respondents using a total sampling technique. The research instruments included a questionnaire and Health Promotion media. Data analysis using the paired sample t-test showed an increase in the average knowledge score from 3.00 before the intervention to 6.16 after the intervention. The p-value of 0.000 (<0.05) indicates a significant effect of the educational video on improving pregnant women's knowledge. It can be concluded that Health Promotion media is effective in enhancing pregnant women’s understanding of pregnancy danger signs and can be applied as an educational strategy in maternal health services.
