Hubungan Nyeri Punggung Bawah dengan Kualitas Hidup Pada Lansia di Desa Cimandala Bogor Tahun 2024

Abstrak

Elderly population have high risk to decrease of physical condition, and Low Back Pain (LBP).  This research included data collection and measurement of independent and dependent variables. This study analyzed variables related to the relationship between low back pain and quality of life in the elderly in Cimandala Village, Bogor Regency.  is the most problem of them. Prevalence of LBP 70-85% and incident of LBP patient hospitalization or visit 3-17%. LBP had affected to limited of physical activity and unpaid because could not work, therefore cause decreasing of quality of life. Quality of Life (QoL) is multidimension, include of health, physical function and psychological problem. The aim of this study is evaluating the association of low back pain and quality of life among elderly population older than 60 years old in Cimandala Village, Sukaraja, Bogor District. This cross-sectional study conducted from October to December 2025 in Cimandala Village, Sukaraja, Bogor District, West Java. Total sample in this study are 100 (using probability sampling technique) and for the exclusion criteria are elderly that younger than 60 years old, not cooperative, living less than 3 years and refuse to be sample, do not have low back pain. Data collecting use questionnaire, observation and interviewing samples. Data analyze was used univariate, bivariate and chi square test to check the association. Univariate data known that samples in this study have LBP mild moderated 87% and 13% severe. The Quality of Life samples 53% categorized as good meanwhile 47% less good. Samples not distributed normal ((p<0,05) and Chi Square test got p= 0,021 (p<0,05), means that there is significant association the Quality of Life and Low Back Pain among elderly.Conclusion: There is significant statistically association of the Quality of Life and Low Back Pain among elderly population (p<0,05).
