Low levels of reproductive health knowledge among pregnant women can increase the risk of complications during pregnancy; one such issue is the high prevalence of vaginal discharge, affecting approximately 75% of women. Health promotion efforts are one strategy for improving pregnant women’s understanding. This study aims to analyze the effect of health promotion on reproductive health knowledge among pregnant women in the first, second, and third trimesters. This study uses a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design employing a one-group pretest-posttest design and accidental sampling. The intervention in this study is health promotion using leaflets, which will be distributed to respondents after they take the pretest; they will then be evaluated (posttest) using a questionnaire. The study was conducted at the Sukarami Community Health Center in Palembang in April 2026 with a sample size of 30 respondents. The results showed an increase in the knowledge of pregnant women following the health promotion intervention. In the pretest, most respondents had adequate knowledge (12 people, 40%), followed by the “insufficient” category (10 people, 33.3%), and the “good” category (8 people, 26.7%). After the intervention, there was a significant increase in the “good” category to 20 respondents (66.7%), while the ‘adequate’ category decreased to 8 respondents (26.7%) and the “poor” category decreased to 2 respondents (6.6%). The results of the statistical analysis show a p-value of <0.05, indicating that health promotion has a significant effect on improving the knowledge of pregnant women. Health promotion is effective in improving reproductive health knowledge. It is hoped that pregnant women will actively attend antenatal care visits and that health workers will consistently provide health promotion tailored to pregnant women to prevent the risk of pregnancy complications, including anemia
