Kepuasan Pasien Rawat Jalan Terhadap Pelayanan Farmasi di Rsud Siti Fatimah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan

Abstrak

Patient satisfaction is an important indicator for assessing the quality of healthcare services, including pharmaceutical services. High-quality pharmaceutical services are expected to meet patients’ needs and enhance their service experience, particularly among outpatients. This study aimed to analyze factors associated with outpatient satisfaction with pharmaceutical services at Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital, South Sumatra Province. This quantitative study employed a cross-sectional design and was conducted from July to August 2025 at the Outpatient Pharmacy Unit of Siti Fatimah Regional General Hospital, South Sumatra Province. The study population comprised all outpatients who received pharmaceutical services, with a sample of 150 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis included univariate analysis, bivariate analysis using the Chi-square test, and multivariate analysis using multiple logistic regression.The results showed that 51.3% of patients were satisfied with the pharmaceutical services, while 48.7% were not satisfied. Bivariate analysis indicated that education (p = 0.016), occupation (p = 0.002), and type of disease (p = 0.019) were significantly associated with outpatient satisfaction. Multivariate analysis revealed that occupation was the most influential factor affecting outpatient satisfaction, with an odds ratio (OR) of 2.953.These findings indicate that patient characteristics, particularly employment status, play an important role in shaping the level of satisfaction with outpatient pharmaceutical services. Therefore, efforts to improve the quality of pharmaceutical services should focus on service time efficiency, enhancement of medication counseling quality, and effective communication between pharmacists and patients.
