The awareness of pregnant women in using digital media for information and pregnancy monitoring differs between Kupang Regency and Ambon City, reflecting disparities in access and service infrastructure. This study aimed to compare such awareness using a comparative descriptive quantitative design with secondary data from the first phase of the Ultralight Project (1 October– 30 November 2024). A total of 649 pregnant women (349 from Kupang Regency and 300 from Ambon City) were included through total sampling. The awareness of pregnant women was measured using an instrument containing 9 items of questions with yes/no answers that encompass the dimensions of information acquisition, digital media usage, and expectations. Data were analyzed using Chi-Square tests (p<0.05). Results showed that seven of nine items differed significantly. The strongest differences were found in perceived sufficiency of information (p<0.001), lack of internet access (p<0.001), and the importance of monitoring fetal movement and heart rate via applications (p<0.001), followed by perceptions of digital media being cumbersome (p=0.006) and obtaining information digitally (p=0.033). No significant differences were found in internet use knowledge (p=0.145) and expectations of home monitoring tools (p=0.120). Overall, the awareness of pregnant women in using digital media differs between the two regions and is influenced by the context of access, usage experience, and perception of the benefits of technology. There is a need to strengthen education and the use of digital media in pregnancy services tailored to the characteristics of the region
