Abstract

These Community Service Activities aimed to enhance collaborative work culture, innovation capability, leadership, and teamwork at PT Trita Musi Persada through the ERGO-Character Building program based on Total Ergonomics. The implementation method employed capacity development and community engagement approaches integrated with appropriate technology, the SHIP (Systemic, Holistic, Interdisciplinary, Participatory) approach, and outbound training based on experiential learning. The program was conducted through preparation, training, outbound simulation, and evaluation stages. The results showed improvements in participants’ understanding of organizational ergonomics concepts and their ability to design SMART and ENASE-oriented work programs, as well as strengthened communication, solidarity, and cross-divisional collaboration. The program also encouraged the development of innovative solutions based on operational efficiency. This activity is significant as an ergonomic character development model that supports productivity, effectiveness, and the sustainability of organizational culture amid resource limitations and increasingly complex industrial competition.
